Hi.

My name is Liezl.

I’m an engineer driven by a love of math. Growing up, I always finished my math homework first and eagerly explored every available course. While I enjoyed sports, numbers and problem-solving captured my curiosity. This passion naturally led me to engineering, where I could apply mathematical thinking to real-world challenges. Electrical engineering introduced me to a variety of topics—from circuits and signals to control theory and robotics—that continue to spark my curiosity today.

For the past three years, I’ve worked in a research lab developing Python-based computer vision systems for pose estimation. I’ve developed and maintained an entire deep learning ecosystem while applying best practices in software engineering.

I’m currently focused on sharpening my skills in computer vision, with an eye toward both practical applications and advancing fundamental understanding. I believe that sharing knowledge and collaborating with others drives innovation and creates meaningful change. Whether building deep learning systems or cycling across the country, I enjoy tackling ambitious challenges and learning from the journey.

Let’s do great things together.
